We use professional audio and video equipment while recording in the school, then edit the raw footage with the latest video-editing and DVD-authoring software.

The result is a DVD of superior quality that can be viewed on your TV or any computer equipped with a DVD drive.
 What is on the DVD?  

Class Memories can work with any class, but we've decided to focus on the two pivotal years at the elementary level: grade one and grade eight. (Think of how meaningful it would be to show the grade one DVD seven years later, when the students are at their grade eight graduation!)

 How it works

 

First we'll plan a shooting schedule, working in conjunction with the teacher(s) involved.

On the scheduled day, we will send a professionally-trained videographer to your school to capture the video footage and still images. Shooting itself usually takes half a school day, but the videographer will stay for the entire day, if necessary.

We understand the importance of being courteous and respectful while in the school and the classroom. We will

work around the class schedule as much as possible, to minimize the disruption. Students will take their regular recess and lunch breaks and taping will only take place during regular classroom time.

We'll take the raw footage, edit it and create a DVD from it. The DVD can be shown to parents at the school, or we can create a demo version for them to take home and evaluate.

We'll provide envelopes and order forms which the teacher will need to distribute and collect from parents. We'll pick up the order forms, make copies of the DVDs and deliver them to the school.
